Our summer vehicle is all about our physical, mental, emotional and social well-being. We have launched our work by starting the Daily Mile. This was first set up over 10 years ago by Elaine Wyllie MBE, the headteacher of a primary school in Scotland. The aim is to run or jog a mile each day to improve our well-being. The children have found it challenging but are beginning to find our Daily Mile a little easier.
This week we have also tried yoga in our PE lesson. The children really tried hard learning some new poses. Archie said, "This was the best PE lesson ever!"
In science we started to look at teeth. We looked at the purpose of different teeth. We tested out eating apple just with our front teeth compared to our molars at the back.
