Wellbeing

At St Anne's Catholic Primary School, we strive to support the development of our pupils, placing emphasis on both their physical and mental health.

Through our PSHE, R.E curriculum and spirituality, we share knowledge around the development of our mental health. This helps to support our pupils as they experience changes as they develop and grow.

Our Catholic faith and spiritual underpinning helps to provide both support and a positive mentality towards challenges. Our pupils are given the time and space to explore their emotions and feelings alongside their education.

Prayer, reflection, and circle time are just some of the activities pupils take part in to support them along their mental wellbeing journey. Students learn from and collaborate with their fellow pupils, helping them to become more understanding of their own, and others’ feelings and welfare.
