Autumn Term
Our Autumn Term Vehicle is called 'Love Around the World'. We will be thinking carefully about and praying for Our Global Family during class liturgy. Throughout this time, we will be exploring music, dances, food and stories from around the world as we learn about different cultures and traditions.
Year 3 had fun during their ‘learn with me’ session carrying out various rock investigations! 🔍 They had to find the best rock to use for a roof, a skateboard ramp and for a kitchen worktop. Well done to our year 3 geologists 👏

Maintaining balance can be tricky!
Exploring the composition and proportions of our face. Now to add watercolour to see how it changes the mood. We have taken inspiration from Antony Gormley's 'Iron Baby' sculpture.
Constructing castles... We now need to add the 3D shapes we have made to our towers in order to meet our design criteria!
We have been spotting patterns in maths.
Louie- 'The tens have changed but the ones stay the same.'
Irene- 'I can see a pattern. First add 4, then add 40, then add 400.'
Norah- 'The inverse of addition is subtraction.'
