This week the children have been learning about more and less/ greater and fewer in maths.  They ended the week finding 'how many more' e.g. 5 is 2 more than 3, 6 is 1 more than 5.  

We started 'drawing club' in Reception this week.  The children drew aspects from the story we are reading, adding labels to develop their writing skills.

The children also learnt about Chinese new year this week, which is celebrated over the weekend and continued thinking about winter.

Homework

Your child has brought home a number formation practice sheet this week and a sheet with QR codes linking to videos to practise some of the special friends sounds they have been learning in school.
