Supporting your child at home

While every effort is made to support children in their mathematical learning in school, there is always more that can be done at home to secure their learning, enabling them to be more fluent in the classroom.

These web links are very useful in developing and supporting your child's fluency as they move on their mathematical journey. See your child's class page for this half term's focus of instant recall facts.

In addition to this class teachers will set homework in line with the homework policy linked to current classroom learning to support and embed work covered in the classroom. In Key Stage 2 children can access this using their login for Century Tech. In Key Stage 1, homework is sent home in homework books related to current areas of learning.

To support your child's fluency in maths, daily fluency tasks will be available in your child's homework book.
