Homework

Homework will be set on a Thursday and should be completed and returned to school by the following Wednesday. Relevant login details can be found in your child's reading record. Please ask if you have any queries.

Year 5 Homework

Year 5's homework will appear here weekly in a dated labelled folder and the children will also bring home their homework book for written tasks. If your child is unsure about any aspect, please encourage them to talk to their class teacher or send an email to them via the school office. Relevant login details can be found in your child's reading record. Please ask if you have any queries. If homework is not completed on time, it will be completed either a break or lunchtime.

Expectations:

-Pupils will have English, Reading, Spelling, Maths (online and arithmetic) and RE homework weekly.  Tasks will be completed on Century Tech, spelling frame and through written tasks.

-Pupils should read daily and record this in their diary with a parent/guardian signature.

Homework is published on a Thursday, please ensure you child plans their time carefully so that homework is completed by the following Wednesday each week. Homework books should be in school on a Wednesday for new tasks to be added.

Daily Arithmetic Practice

Pupils will bring home arithmetic tasks that should be completed daily in their homework book and returned for review on a Thursday.
