This week, the children have enjoyed Not Now Bernard and the Drawing Club activities related to this story.

In maths, we continued developing our understanding of number bonds making 10 by thinking about subtracting different numbers from 10 and saying how many are left.

We also learnt about African animals, which the children enjoyed drawing in their choosing time.  The children have also really enjoyed talking about how special their Mummy is to them and thinking about the things they enjoy doing with Mummy. 

For homework this week, please go on a walk or get out in the garden and talk about the signs of spring that you see.  Your child could then have a go at drawing and labelling what they saw or writing a list of these things.  Get them using their fingers to take away from 10 and say the number that is left.
