6.5.22

This week we read Ruby's Worry and My Monster and Me and the children created their own worry dolls and dream catchers.  In maths we continued with our work on counting and started finding doubles.  Over the last two weeks, we have started thinking about growing.  Last week the children put four different seeds into mini greenhouses to germinate.  This week they observed these and found which germinated the quickest and thought about what plants need to grow.

HOMEWORK

Write a list of things that make you happy.

Practise finding and recalling doubles.

Please practise your child's reading book with them as often as possible (at least 3 times a week).

If your child is growing something at home, or the cress head they brought home this week grows, we would love to see what they have grown on Tapestry.

Many thanks,

The Reception Team.
