Advent
In this unit the children learnt that Advent is a season of preparation for Christmas. They can describe the Advent Wreath and explain why it is a symbol of preparation for Christmas. They know the story of John the Baptist and preparing the way for Jesus. Also, they can describe some ways the parish prepares for Christmas.
