Saint Chad is the saint for Year 5.

Saint Chad has close connections with the area. He brought Christianity to the ancient English kingdom of Mercia (Midlands), was the first bishop of Lichfield and is buried at Lichfield cathedral.  

During the 2nd Autumn term on the run up to Christmas, Year 5 will be learning about the sacrament of Baptism and Advent.

Year 5 will continue their preparation for confirmation next year.
