Honey Bees
On Tuesday 21st May, we had some visitors to our school playground …. Approximately 5000 of them in fact! A swarm of honeybees settled on one of our school picnic benches on the Key Stage Two playground. With the assistance of a local beekeeper, the honeybees were successfully relocated to a new hive at Shugborough Estate, Stafford.
