Welcome back to our Advent term 2025!
I hope you have enjoyed your half term- I can't wait to hear about what you got up to.
I am really proud of how well you have all settled in over the last 8 weeks, keep up the hard work!

Our Class Saint - Saint Alphonsa
This year, Year 4 chose Saint Alphonsa to be their class saint because she showed great courage, kindness, and faith even when life was very hard. She was the first woman from India to become a saint, and she spent her life helping others and trusting in God. The class admired how she stayed strong and prayed every day, even when she was sick or in pain. They felt inspired by her love for Jesus and her peaceful, humble way of living. Saint Alphonsa’s story reminded them to be kind, patient, and hopeful, making her a perfect role model for them.
Class Reminders
- Year 4 enter through the gate on the left side of the KS1 playground.
- Doors open at 8.40am for a prompt start at 8.45am. Year 4 finish at 3.20pm.
- PE will be on Tuesday and Wednesday. Children should come dressed in PE kit on these days and without earrings (please note we are unable to tape over them).
