Year 3 celebrated World Book Day by wearing their pyjamas, bringing in their cuddly toy and their favourite book. They spent the day creating their own book, their own bookmarks and writing a book review about their favourite book.

Learning the expanded method for multiplication
Year 3 have been investigating which type of soil: sandy, clay, silt, chalk or loam was the most permeable. They worked in groups to measure how much water filtered through into the measuring cylinder. We found out that clay-based soil was the most permeable.
