    Nursery Class shared “The Gruffalo” story.
    They made their own Gruffalo masks and then went to “The Magic Forest” to find the Gruffalo and his friends.

    As part of their Curriculum Vehicle this term Year 1 have been looking back at the 1960’s. They practised their tracing when making pop art pictures of Neil Armstrong, Marilyn Monroe and themselves in their Art Lesson, learned the names of common flowers in Science and compared life in the 1960’s to the present day in a History lesson.
  • Year 5 visit Blists Hill Victorian Town

    As part of their Curriculum Vehicle this term Year 5 enjoyed a visit to Blists Hill Victorian Town to experience life in Victorian times. Whilst there the children traded their money for ‘old pre-decimal’ money which enabled them to spend it in the Victorian Shop.

    On Rememberance Day Nursery Class visited St Anne’s Church for the first time. They lit a candle and said a prayer for all of the soldiers.
  • Imani's Incredible Eats

    Congratulations to one of our Year 5 pupils Imani Al-Khaldi, who has been nominated for The Community Awards 2019.
    Imani masterminded ‘Imani’s Incredible Eats’. She set up this thriving charity by saving her pocket money to buy a community fridge which has been running alongside the food bank in Rising Brook Baptist Church since October 2018. In 2019 an additional three fridges have been added in different locations - Silkmore Children’s Centre, The Signpost Centre and Wolverhampton Outreach Centre. Well done Imani.
  • Reception learn about endangered animals

    As part of their Geography lesson Reception Class have been looking at a map of the world to learn more about endangered animals and where they live. 🐾🌎
