• Reception use their special Forest School pencils

  Mrs Allcock, our very talented Teaching Assistant, made some pencils out of the spare twigs the children collected during their Forest Schools lesson. Reception Class loved them and did lots of handwriting practice!

  

• Year 3 visit St. Anne's Church

  As part of their consolidation of learning about the sacraments, Year 3 visited St Anne’s Church. They looked at the baptismal font and the tabernacle as Mrs McKay explained their function within the church. They all had a quiet few minutes to say a prayer before heading back to school.

  Y5 are getting ready for business!
  We now have group names for our budding entrepreneurs:

  Seasonal Spa
  Brilliant Bubbles
  Santa Scents
  Today they have been desgining logos and creating posters to advertise their amazing handmade products. Watch out for them over the next few weeks!

  

• Diwali Day in Reception Class

  Reception Class children celebrated Diwali by coming to school in brightly coloured clothes. They enjoyed lots of fun activities including making traditional Diyas and dancing.

  

• Choir Club are getting in the Christmas Spirit

  It’s that time of year again 🎄 Our choir have been invited to sing at St Mary’s Church, Stafford’s Christmas Tree Festival and have started practising already. They’re all very keen.

  

• Reception and their Hedgehogs

  Reception Class have been learning about hedgehogs and decided to put the beautiful autumn leaves to good use on their hedgehog drawing. 🦔🦔🦔🦔

   

   

  

• Year 6 take part in 'Barvember'

  This week our Year 6 students have been taking part in some of the 'Barvember' maths challenges! Barvember runs from 4th - 29th Nov and gives children all over the world 5 problems a day that lend themselves well to being answered with a bar model.

  

• Year 6 take part in their final Go Ride Coaching session

  On Monday, Year 6 took part in their final Go Ride Coaching session with Stafford Road Club 🚲. Over the duration of the club the children have been working hard to develop their biking skills and put everything they have learnt into practise by taking part in a race around the school track! We would like to say a massive thank you to Mr Blythe for coming into school and coaching the children - they've had a fantastic time 😊
