Year 6

Welcome to Year 6's Class Page Summer 2022

Mrs Gill and Mrs Campling

Welcome back to Summer term 2022! As we begin the final term of Year 6's time at St Anne's, it is both exciting and sad. To recognise this the theme for our last term with be 'Looking Back, Moving Forward' taking time to celebrate the children's achievements and prepare for the next part of their learning journey.  During the vehicle, the pupils will undertake transition activities, outward-bound challenges and prepare for a memorable goodbye!

As always if you wish to discuss any aspect of the Year 6 Curriculum or any issues regarding your child please contact the school office to arrange an appointment either by phone or email office@st-annes-weepingcross.staffs.sch.uk

Please check back weekly to see what Year 6 have been up to as they love to share their learning journey!

'Hearts and Minds' Transition

'Hearts and Minds' was the theme for the current Year 5's transition day in Year 6.  After solving the riddle of how to get the fox, corn chicken and farmer safely across the river (they are now experts!) they opened their hearts (quite literally) to share their hopes and aspirations for year 6. Our first prayer service together allowed us to offer these intentions to God.  It was lovely to meet all of the children and I cannot wait to work with them in September.
