Spring Vehicle

Our curriculum vehicle this term is called "Wonderful Winter".  We will be looking at the changes in the weather during the winter season.  Exploring ice, how it is made, and what makes it melt.   Reading a variety of winter books and also looking at the arctic and where it is on our Nursery globe. 

Percy the Park Keeper came to our school this week as part of our Curriculum Vehicle. There was lots of muddy chefs in his kitchen making tasty treats for the hungry animals coming out of their hibernation  ❄️  🦊 🐭 🐦 🦡 we helped Percy to melt the frozen food using pipettes, salt shakers and spray bottles. We used the big spoons to mix the ingredients and we helped to move the ice balls using the large grabbers. We had such a busy morning.
