Welcome to the Year 6 Class Page

Google Classroom access and online Learning.

 

Thank you to everyone who has been accessing homework on Google classroom. This was completed in preparation for possible bubble closures. Unfortunately this has been the case this week. Thank you for your support through this difficult time and we hope that you are able to stay safe and well at home.

 

Classroom learning will now go online and you should have received an email outlining how to access the Google classroom. To support this please type in google classroom into your toolbar. Please follow to the classroom. It will then ask you for your childs email address - this is the email address that they have been given in their planners and that they have used previously. In the event of losing this please contact the office to gain a further copy. You will then need to use the class code and you will be able to access the classroom.

 

Please go to the stream and I will send the meet code at the point when the class should commence. For each lesson you will be able to download documents or you can write onto paper. Either are perfectly fine. 

 

A time table for tomorrow is as follows:

 

Session 1 - 9.30 - 10.30 - Maths

10.30 - 11/00 - Break time and review.

Please note Mr Grattage will remain in the meet to discuss any issues from the morning.

 

Session 2 - 11.00 - 12.00 - English.

 

Lunchtime 12.00 - 13.00

 

Session 3 - 13.00 - 14.00 - Science

 

Session 4 - 14.00 - 14.45 - Century Tech online learning nuggets to complete. Please note nuggets will be set each day. In the event of completing these children are encouraged to access thier own path.

 

Please go to app.century. tech and use the login information in your planners. If you need a further copy of this please ask Mr Grattage during the meet.

 

Return to the meet 14.45 - Review of the day and to share the timetable for the following day.

 

Please note from Wednesday onwards the first session will begin at 9.00 am. 

 

Mr Grattage will complete a register in each session. If you do experience any difficulties logging on please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

 

Thank you for your support. If you have any queries at any stage please do not hesitate to speak on the meet. Mr Grattage will allocate time at the end of each session to recap or discuss any issues.

 

All instructions will be set on the assignment and please complete the task should you struggle to access the meet. Please let us know and we can look into any issues with this. Please also access the century app to access further work, this can be in the form of childrens individual pathway.
