We had lots of fun doing archery for our summer behaviour reward.

We had great fun in our 'Key Strings' assembly this afternoon!!!
In science we are learning about plants and have looked closely at the parts of a plant and what a plant needs to survive. We each planted our own sunflowers seeds and are excited to watch them grow. We cannot wait to see how tall they grow!!

We have had a very exciting week in Year 1! We had a very special visitor that delivered us a parcel. Can you guess who it was from? We've done lots of super and exciting writing too and our letters are now ready to post to Goldilocks.
We shared our holiday news. We loved looking at the postcards and photos of our adventures.

Friday 5th April 2019 Star Writer of the Week - Imogen. This week we have been learning about exclamation and question sentences. Imogen has written some super questons and remembered her question marks at the end...Well done Imogen!!
Writer of the Week 29th March 2019 is Isabella B - for always trying hard in her writing. Her retell of 'Where The Wild Things Are' is beautifully presented, well done Isabella!!
22nd March 2019 - This week we have planned and started to write our own retell of "Where The Wild Things Are". This week our Star Writer is Ethan for taking care in all of his work and trying his best with his writing. I wonder who will be our 'Story Star Writer' next week...
15th March 2019 our Star writer is Liliana - for writing an amazing poem. Liliana always tries her best with her writing and has included some wonderful rhyming words. Well done!!
