Wednesday 20th May 2020
Thank you so much for all of your work, emails and photographs that you have sent in. We have attached a 'Wednesday Word' at the bottom of the page if you would like to share the gospel, this is a special edition which covers the next few weeks as we approach half term.
Lots of love
Mrs Little and Miss Cummins
Continuing with your phonics sound of the week, can you play a game of "Eye Spy" looking for words that start with this week’s sound ‘h’. Explore your house or garden and see what objects you can find. Can your draw a picture of these objects and send them to us? Always remember to continuously practise all of your other letter sounds that you have learnt so far...
Today we have attached a mini beast colour by number worksheet, this is a great way for children to practise recognising numbers and colours while learning through play. Each colouring sheet has with key to instruct children what colour to use. There is also a link to the Numberblocks website, this is something that we use regularly in Nursery and as you know the children love it.
At the beginning of the week we talked about how it is important to start each day with our morning prayer and then finish with our end of the day prayer, and, as we are approaching Pentecost at the end of May, think about the words that you say at the beginning and at the end of each prayer when you are making the Sign of the Cross. There is an activity sheet on the link below which your children can colour in.
