Wednesday 20th May
Good morning! Excellent work so far this week Year 3 I have attached a 'Wednesday Word' at the bottom of the page if you would like to share the gospel, this is a special edition which covers the next few weeks.
We are continuing to think about our book, 'Ug: Boy Genius of the Stone Age'. I have been really impressed with your ideas for new Stone Age meals and games - very creative! Today we are going to compare Ug’s world to our own. Use the ‘Double Bubble’ worksheet to explore some of the differences and similarities between the depictions of Ug’s world compared with our own, based on what we know so far. Look back through pages 1-5 to get your ideas.
Today we are learning how to use AM and PM. AM means morning (before noon) and PM means afternoon (after midday). Log on to Purple Mash and check your 2Do's for an AM and PM quiz and then complete the worksheet.
Joe Wicks Live PE lesson's are on www.youtube.com every day from 9am.
Spanish - Today we are combining our work so far on colours and shapes to describe flags. Look at the different flags on the PowerPoint. Do you know which countries they represent? Choose a few of your favourite flags. Can you describe their colours and shapes? Use the key words sheet to help you. You don’t have to write these down (unless you would like to) this can just be a talking activity. Mi bandera es/tiene = My flag is/has.
