World Book Day - Thursday 4th March 2021
Let's dress in our pyjamas, sleep-suits, or lounge-wear today.
Join me for story time at 11 am on Google Classroom and we'll try and organise the camera so that we can get all the children involved.
Why not snuggle up with a mug of cosy hot chocolate or your favourite warm drink?
Get creative on Thursday too - if you can, try and get an empty plastic milk bottle, card, coloured tissue paper or paint, pva glue and googly craft eyes (though these can be made out of paper or card), as there will be a craft activity on the home learning page for you to make.

Re-visit and review any sounds your child is not familiar with.
Some children have been assessed either remotely or due to the fact that they are in school as a child of a key worker. Anyone who has not been assessed will be tested after the 8th March.
Phonics
Go to Google Classroom/Reception/Class works to access your daily phonics lessons for your child's group, for home learning.
The reception key worker children, in school, will access the same phonics lessons, for their particular group, each day.
Read the sentence and follow the instructions adding the detail to the picture.

Go for a walk around your local area or go out into your back garden (if you have one) looking for the first signs of Spring.
Use a check list, if possible on a clipboards with pencil ready to mark off anything you spot.
