Keep practising and focus on the your child's phonic group work. This can be found on the Reception home learning front page under 'Phonics'.

CHINESE LUNAR NEW YEAR

Today and tomorrow we will be doing some fun activities linked to the Chinese New Year.

(Tomorrow is the official start of the Chinese New Year for 2021. Wear something red or brightly coloured if you can).

One of the colours often seen during Chinese New Year is red. Red is a lucky colour in China.

Make a list of words that rhyme with the word red e.g. bed etc.

MATHS
MAKE A CHINESE LION MASK

Colour or paint in red and yellow or any bright colour to make this Chinese lion mask. Back on cardboard, add lolly stick to hold or attach elastic to wear.

Complete this colour by number Chinese dragon.
