Star of the week

 

Children will be chosen as Year 6 Stars of the week for living out our Catholic Values.

 

Autumn 1 Winners for demonstrating and being Grateful and Generous:

 

*Louie R - During his very first week at St Anne's, Louie embraced the school values and without prompting or encouragement and without truly knowling his peers, he made a gesture to loan his PE kit to another pupil. 

 

*Daisy - For looking after and working with her special friend in Reception.

 

*Mikolaj - For generosity and gratitude shown when meeting his special friend in Reception.

 

*6G - A special award for the entire class to celebrate a fantastic few days together at Condover.  Great team work, growth mindsets and lots of fun had by all!

 

*Eoin - Awarded for showing generosity with his time at lunch, to help set up the library team.  Thank you Eoin!

 

*Grace - Ably supporting Eoin by helping to set up the library team.  Super team work.

 

*Elizabeth - A special award for making a visiting member of staff welcome to our school, the member staff was so overcome with Elizabeths kindness and generositiy offered to her. Well done Lizzie.

 

*Dara - During church on Sunday Dara, kindly offered his time to support the service and ably stepped in to complete a reading, well done Dara for being so generous.

 

Elizabeth, Sophie, Ailish, Grace, Enya, Summer and Daisy for taking time to organise, bake and sell a range of delicious cakes to help raise money for our fantastic cause. Thank you for your generosity. 

 

Autumn 2 Winners for being Attentive and Discerning.

 

Class 6G - The whole class were chosen for being attentive in how they suppport their Special Friends and discerning by chosing to support and spend time with them within their own time at break and lunch time. The Reception children have had a fantatstic time spending time with their Special friends.

Congratulations to Enya our star or the week- for being attentive, she always knows when to ask for help and she always listens fantastically so that she can move her learning forward! 

 

Congratulations also to Eoin, who is discerning in his judgement and behaves responsibly around the school, setting a fantastic example to all the other children! 

 

 

 

Spring Term Winners for being Compassionate and Loving.

Congratulations to Eoin, Luca, Noah and Elizabeth for organising a Marys Meals mascot drawing competition, showing genuine care and compassion towards a great cause. Well done!

 

Congratulations to Chloe who donated her weekly pocket money towards the families and animals who have been affected by the bush fires in Australia. A very selfless, compassionate and loving act. We are so very proud of you Chloe.
