Spellings
Your child's spellings will be stuck into their spelling book at the beginning of each half term. Children should spend at least 20 minutes a week practising their 10 weekly spellings. A spelling test will take place every Thursday.

This week, the children in year 5 have undergone a 30 word spelling test to review their spellings from this term, I have sent out individual spellings for the children to practice at home, these will be tested on Wednesday 18th December, when the other spellings from the term will also be assessed.
Spring Term
Spring Term 2:
From the beginning of this half term, spellings will be given out on a Monday and will be tested the following Monday. Please ensure that children are practising their spellings at home every evening.
