Good morning Year 3!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I will be hosting a live lesson again on Google Meet this Thursday at 11:30am so I hope to see you all then. Thank you for keeping in contact via emails and Purple Mash, I love to see all of the fantastic work you have been doing at home. Have a great week, Mrs Ward.
Read the PowerPoint to discover this week’s spelling words, like last week they all contain silent letters. Then choose to either play the ‘roll a word’ spelling game or complete the handwriting sheet.
This week we are going to be doing some revision of our learning from throughout the year. Today we will be looking at the 8 times tables. Please look at the worksheets below, the first page gives you some examples and the second page is for you to complete. Also, log on to TTRockstars and challenge your friends or me (if you dare!) to a times table challenge. Remember we should be getting very speedy with our 3, 4 and 8 times tables by now in preparation for next year.
Try out a Joe Wicks Live PE lesson or a dance routine from Oti Mabuse on YouTube.
History - Have you heard of Stonehenge? Do you know where it is? Where did it come from? How old is it?
Use the worksheet to read the facts about Stonehenge and then complete the quiz, you can choose the level of difficulty from 1-3 stars, more stars = more challenging. I have also linked the BBC Bitesize website which has a few videos all about Stonehenge that you might like to watch.
