Monday 4th May
Hello children and families! Thank you for all of your emails last week, please continue to keep in touch, I really enjoy looking at your photographs and home learning activities. Also, it was lovely to hear from lots of you on the phone. Mrs Bundy and I will be continuing to make phone calls this week just to check you're all happy and healthy and see if we can help in any way. I will be working at the hub school today with the children of key workers so there will be a short delay in responding to your emails. Have a lovely day!
Please read the PowerPoint to find out this week’s spellings, these are all words with a short /u/ sound but spelt with ‘ou’. Spin the wheel on the last slide and complete the selected challenge. Then, using the template, create your own word search using these spellings.
You can also listen to the Greek myth, 'King Midas', I've recorded below for you.
King Midas - Part 1
King Midas - Part 2
This week I would like you to try some problem solving challenges. Below there are some family maths challenges, try to complete numbers 1-4, although you are welcome to do more if you wish.
Joe Wicks Live PE lesson's are on www.youtube.com every day from 9am.
RE - Miss Ridge and I were really impressed with your work on the road to Emmaus last week. This week we would like you to learn about the resurrection of Jesus. First, read through the PowerPoint below and discuss the questions with your family. Then see if you can create your own piece of artwork to represent the resurrection of Jesus. You can choose what to include and what to use to create your piece of art. We are really looking forward to seeing your ideas come to life.
