Monday 22.06

Hello, welcome to another week of home learning.  I have updated the home learning gallery, please take a look at the wonderful work going on at home in Year 2.  Thank you for your emails and pictures, please do keep sending these in to the class email address.  Many thanks smiley

Maths

I'm sure lots of you will have been baking during lock-down and possibly using millilitres to measure ingredients, especially if you've been making pancakes or something similar smiley.  Complete today's worksheet using millilitres to measure capacities.  Think back to the other work we have done recently using scales to measure, such as finding temperatures and weights.

English

Look carefully at the picture.  Then complete the activity identifying what you can see in the picture and predicting what will happen in the story.

PE

Join in with Joe Wicks' PE lesson OR your challenge this week is to try a new form of exercise (if you having a skipping rope at home you could challenge yourself to learn to skip, it doesn't matter if you can't do it yet - that's the challenge! Alternatively you could challenge yourself to jump further with your feet together or throw or hit a ball against a wall).  If you practise your new sport each day this week (five times) you could apply for the 2020 Blue Peter Sport Badge (see link below).

RE

Use the PowerPoint to learn more about the Sacrament of Baptism.  Then complete the worksheet.
