Welcome back to a new week of home learning. I hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine over half term. Now that we, as staff, are back in school it may take a little longer to reply to the emails sent to the class email address. These emails will still be checked regularly however, so please continue to use this to communicate any queries or concerns and I will prioritise responding to these. Please do continue to keep in touch weekly and keep the photos coming, the home learning gallery is looking superb and the quality of work being completed at home is excellent.
This week the children are going to be reading scales to measure temperature and weight (beginning with temperature today). Think back to the measuring work we did and the scales on the rulers or tape measures you used. Thermometers also have scales which allow us to read the temperature using degrees Celsius (ºC). What will the temperature get up to today?
Complete the measuring temperatures worksheet.
Read the extract about Mr Twit. Then complete the character profile for Mr Twit using the information from the extract. Can you infer what Mr Twit's personality is like from the details we are told about him?
Join in with Joe Wicks' PE lesson.
Watch the video clip about food groups and listen to the food groups song. Then using the sorting grid and foods, sort the foods into their correct group.
