Home Learning

The children will have daily lessons provided in Maths, English and 1-2 further subjects.  These can be found using the tab for the relevant date.  In addition to these, the children need to practise their phonics and reading daily.  Below is a link to the RWI lessons which we follow for phonics.  The children should access the 'Set 3 Speed Sounds' lesson for each day (a new lesson is released daily at 9.30am and remains on the site for the next 24 hours).  If your child requires further practise in sentence writing, they will also benefit from using the 'Hold a Sentence' lessons. There is also a link to access the free Oxford Owl e-library (creating an account to access the books is free) where your child can access book banded books to read at home. 

Your child will also need regular breaks from learning throughout the day and may be interested in the links to a variety of activities at the very bottom of this page (below the daily lessons).
