PE and Outdoor Activities
To start your day off I have attached a link for Cosmic Kids Yoga which I'm sure you will all enjoy
You can always access Joe Wickes and join in with his daily workout. Most importantly, get outside in to the sunshine and fresh air and get practising hopping on one foot and then switch to the other foot. Can you balance on your right leg? Can you balance on your left leg? Have and go and let me know Have a great day and we look forward to hearing about your day!!! lots of love Mrs Little and Miss Cummins xx
To begin watch the Numberblocks episode – How to count – talk about the mistakes they make, try doing this yourself asking your child if you have counted correcty.
Activity - You will need: three plates and a small bowl of items (e.g. marbles, stones, lego, cars or even socks) Anything can be counted, be creative with your ideas.
Middle Plate - ask a grown to write a number between 1 and 5 or between 1 and 10 (for a challenge). Can you say the number?
Count out that number of items onto the middle plate. Now place fewer (less) or more that the given number on the other plates. Can you write how many are on each plate? You may use a selection of mark to show how many? For example numerals, dots, dashes, pictures or shapes.
Literacy and Foundation
We loved the activity that Mrs Richardson did with Year 2 earlier on in the week so we asked her if she would mind if we did something similar. You have all blown us away with all of the hard work that you have been doing this week at home so we wanted you today, to make a rainbow of hope and promise for good things to come. Have a sing of the song and concentrate on the order of the colours of the rainbow. We can't wait to see your photographs Mrs Little will be making one with Milly so she will be sharing her photograph too.
