Friday 24th April
Well done for completing another week of home learning! Me and Ms Mair were talking about what a fantastic job you and your parents are doing with all of your work, it is really clear to see from your photographs and emails how hard you are all working. Don't forget how proud we are of you!
As always if you'd like any help, advice or even just a chat, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
On PhonicsPlay, click on the Phase 5 button on the left side of the page. Practice your digraphs, trigraphs and alien words by playing on Cheeky Chimps! As I'm sure you remember, you need to decide which alternative pronunciation (different ways of saying something) is used in each word so that you can feed it to the right monkey! Try to practice 2-3 different digraphs or trigraphs If you are finding this a bit tricky, you can of course refresh your memory of some Phase 3 sounds - I recommend either Obb and Bob or Buried Treasure.
Maths - Making Equal Groups - Sharing
It was brilliant to see so many of you using lots of different resources to do your maths work yesterday - I think we're going to have some chubby toys after all the pizza they've been eating Today we're going to build on our learning from yesterday - this doesn't mean you can't use your resources! Keep them nearby to help you, it's always a good idea to use things to help you understand what you are doing! I have attached a worksheet for you to complete to test your new skills - let us know how you get on.
For your science lesson this week, I would like you to have a go at learning the names of some common trees and plants. In your garden, or on your daily walk (or both!), take these sheets with you and tick off the trees and plants you can find! Of course, I don't expect you to find everything (or you walk will last all day and you won't have time for anything else)! Let us know what you manage to find!
Every morning Joe Wicks is hosting a live PE lesson on his YouTube channel at 9am. Don't worry if you can't wake up that early, they are on YouTube all day!
Most importantly, remember to have as much fun with your families as you can and laugh lots! Have a brilliant weekend
