Thank you and very well done once again to those of you who joined yesterday's Google Classrooms lesson. Next Thursday we will be having a maths lesson complete with bingo to start the lesson! Although it will be a maths lesson, if any of you would like to write a prayer to begin or end the session that would be lovely.
Complete our Beat The Clock Times Tables Challenge.
Then practise playing TTR. Next week I am planning on us challenging Year 3 to a Battle on TTR. The battle games will use all multiplication and division facts up to 12 x 12 but pupils could have a try or put in answers they know are incorrect to move the questions on when they don't know a fact. Use the studio to practise this style of game as well as playing the regular garage games (teacher set tables).
I know lots of you have been reading a lot while you have been away from school. Choose a book you have read recently and enjoyed to write a review of, or alternatively you could review the story Leaf. If you would like to send your reviews I will put them in the gallery so you can read each other's to give you some ideas for summer holiday reading.
Also, I know a lot of you have the Roald Dahl books at home. If you have Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, you might want to start reading it over the weekend in preparation for next week's home learning. Don't worry if you don't have this book, we'll be reading parts of it next week.
Join in with Joe Wicks' PE lesson OR follow an Oti Mabuse dance lesson Oti's Boogie Beegies (we've been enjoying these quick 5 minute dance lessons in school!)
There are two activities, you can choose one or complete both. Thinking back over your time in Year 2 and your time learning from home, complete the worksheets reflecting on the new things you have learned since starting Year 2 last September and choosing your favourite activities and memories from your time at home.
