Cupcake Decorating

On the afternoon of Wednesday 6th November, children in Year 3 enjoyed taking part in a cupcake decorating masterclass. They learnt how to pipe icing on to cupcakes as well as making cake decorations in the shape of a bear, sheep and chicken. They also were able to explore using stencils to create shapes using royal icing. 

We are really enjoying our curriculum vehicle, these new skills will be extremely useful for our upcoming Bake Off event.
