In maths we have continued to learn bout the number 2.  "Number 2 is one and one more." The children have been recognising, drawing, finding number 2 and using their subitising skills (the ability to instantaneously recognise the number of objects in a small group without the need to count them). With your child complete the activity in their homework book and scribe down and comments or key vocabulary that they may use.

In Literacy and EAD we have been learning the "Gruffalo Song."  We have been using our listening ears and had a go at repeating the words altogether.  We then used our fine motor skills to begin develop our pencil control; we coloured in a picture of the Gruffalo and discussed what he looked like.

RE - Thank you for uploading your baptism photographs onto our Tapestry App. The children really enjoyed sharing them.  We used new vocabulary when describing a baptism, we discussed that water is used in a special way in church and that it is called Holy Water.  We watched the story of "Jesus and the Children" and learned that all children are friends of Jesus and loved by him.
