Phonics
Tune in to the 'Ruth Miskin Training' YouTube channel for a daily speed sound lesson. The films will be available from 9:30am and you can access them for 24 hours. Here is a link to the playlist where you can find set 1, 2 and 3 speed sounds.

If you are feeling confident with your speed sounds, you should have a go at one of the other videos such as 'reading longer words', 'reading red words 1', 'reading red words 2', 'read and hold a sentence 1' and 'read and hold a sentence 2'.
Maths
We have reached the end of our 'Addition within 20' unit of work in maths. At the end of every unit, we carry out an end of unit check to see what we have learnt and what we may need a bit more work on. Please can you email these to year1@st-annes-weepingcross.staffs.sch.uk (showing corrections in a different coloured pen if you have marked it).
